The time has come that due to my girlfriend being made redundant and me being a student the EK9 has to go I've had it about 6 months and spent a small fortune on it in that time. I had the whole front end painted to get rid of stone chips, fitted a 4.7 final drive gearbox as the original was crunching from 2nd to 3rd. then i had the engine rebuilt with loads of new honda parts acl race bearings in the bottom end, head rebuilt with supertech valve guides and seals and all the valves reground and a light skim new inlet manifold due to a small hairline crack in the old one all new gaskets, honda dizzy cap and rotor arm, pcv valve, water pump tensioner belt and loads of other parts etc

Also in the time i've had it i've replaced both outer cv's ball joints one rear caliper discs and pads I've fitted new outer bolsters on both front seats and too many oil and filter changes to mention along with any other parts it has ever needed i'm on first name terms with my local honda parts man.
Bad points i can no longer justify spending any more on the car hence the sale but it has a couple of things needing attention the clutch bearing is a bit rattley at times. There are a couple of small burns in the front recaros from somebody smoking something as shown in the photos otherwise the seats are good. Every now and then the idle control valve sticks so if the car is under load i.e power steering working when the engine is just past cold somtimes the revs drop right down or even stall . when the engine is cold its fine when its hot its fine and it doesn't happen all the time i've been quoted £40 for a second hand one or a new one is nearer 200 but ive not had the cash to do it as i've only ever changed parts for brand new honda parts and as i say it only happens now and again and if you blip the throttle its fine. Also since the rebuild it still does use a bit of oil in vtec maybe i was expecting too much but it does still does puff a bit of smoke just as vtec comes in and the oil needs topping up now and then. No engine lights showing had it all checked by honda expert runs well vtec comes in as it should oil pressure good. When i had the money this car never wanted for anything always well serviced and now i can't do that anymore its time to go i dont want to let it go downhill.
I'm sure there is loads i've not included serious buyers only please the car is priced to sell i've spent almost the asking price on it in the last 6 months there are a few small marks here and there a few curb marks on the wheels etc but it must be worth what i'm asking so no silly offers may take a cheap px but i need the cash
