EK4 Track Car

Car looks great all it needs is a cage to protect you and improve handling!!

Looks great, sounds great, goes great.... WELL done sir, i've properly enjoyed this build all the way through. Just brilliant..

Just remove that type r badge :p

For real though man, Brilliant stuff !!!

steven where can i get decent wheel nuts ?

also i like the Type R badge lol am planning to get propper type R bumpers etc. also will redo the roof and weld in the EK9 reinforcments so the Type R is staying haha

this build is no where near finished i'm planning on k20ing it i'm selling the turbo i reckon the k20 will be better for track use .

K20 in an EK civic is very very fast, even on a base map with a 5.1FD mine pulls extremely well

i just use cheap open end steel wheelnuts on mine, as you push the car harder the heat off the brakes/tyres will loosen the aluminium wheelnuts, happened to me on a trackday even with the wheels torqued to spec

yeah happens to me have to come in every 10 minutes to tighten them up.

have no idea where to get steel ones though lol

and yeah actually steven i mite need some info on kswaping it.

you reckon with a 4 to 5 k budget it's doable running a standard ECU, only thing i really want is LSD :D

it's doable if you get decent money for your old bits!

just search for 12x1.5 steel wheel nuts, be loads available :nice:

well i have got some good kit on the car. CTR cams ... my engine is basicly new... with an S4c gearbox etc...

you reckon i would be able to keep my spoon n1 though ? i really like the exhaust and don't really fancy changing it :D

yeah you just need to get the B pipe shortened! can run any ek9 exhaust on a K-swap :nice:

Awsome.

what type of k20 do you run mate ? and is there a gearbox that comes with an LSD as standarD?

Just read this whole thread and love it. Puts my Almera lump of junk to shame!! :)

Do you have any trackdays planned for the near future?
