Will be converting my mates Jordan to a b18c4 soon and there's a few things il need to know. Can I use the mb6 ignition barrel, key transponder on the ek? Will the p9k ecu plug straight in or will I need a harness? Also I will have to run a wire in from the ecu to get the iab's going? anyone have a wiring diagram for this?

Mb ECU, barrel an keys no good to you mate

Your best of getting p28 or p30 chipped ECU

If your ek4 is 96-98 then you need obd2a-obd1 harness

If your ek4 is 99-00 then you need obd2b-obd1 harness

You need either of the above harness to run p28 or p30 ECU in your car

Why not just put the B18c4 bottom end in then use some management like hondata or chrome to remap it.

Is there no way I can use the mb6 ecu? I used chipped ecus before with basemaps and found them to be a load of crap, that's why I'd rather try and use the standard ecu. Oh and it's a Jordan so it's obd2b.

Don't think my mate is interested in expensive management, plus its a standard engine so no real need.

In that case You best of going with jdm p72 gsr ECU (no immobiliser)
