i know this is an old post but i got to say this my mate has just got a red EK2 so the chasis says type r. (import) standard b16b. i have seen the import certificate and its lagit no engine conversion what so ever!! we been tryin to figure this out as well what the hell is an EK2. has all the prefacelift bumpers, has the lip kit, bumper strips have been colour coded. real puzzler but at end of day really its 'boss' n goes like bat out of hell!!!

I have a ek2 1.3 in black I only no of some in Dominica Republic still going, not heard of any in the UK. Anyone got one?
