Item for sale: B16B powered Honda Civic EJ9
Price: 3300 ONO
Location: Paisley (10 mins from Glasgow, Scotland)
Condition: Mechanical 10/10 Cosmetic 6.5/10
Description:
Well where do i start....
It is with great regret that i must put the civic up for sale, been my absolute pride and joy for the last 12 months of ownership however driving a slammed civic with a back box louder than most isn't ideal.
Spec list:
Full b16b conversion carried out by Automek east Kilbride - honda specialists at a total cost of roughly £3000 Engine and lsd box are currently on 89k, shell on 84k (Brand new loom and Engine mounts purchased from Honda were fitted during conversion)
D2 coilover suspension lowered 90mm, not the most uncomfortable ride ever but you do feel every pot hole, with the splitter on it means that it scrapes slightly on those huge speedbumps (remove the splitter and problem solved but it really does look good with it on, or simply spend an afternoon raising the suspension and problem solved)
Black recaros from a Dc5 Teg worth a fair whack on their own, complete with the full EK9 rails and runners, there are a couple of fag burns on the drivers side seat (not me i don't smoke)
White Replica Rota Volk alloys.
Upgraded 282 front brakes
Integra type R radiator
Integra type R braces front and rear
Decat pipe with stainless steel baxbox from C+C comes with lifetime guarentee
C pillar brace
EK9 steering rack
DC2 mats
330m deep dish wheel
Pioneer headunit with iPod connection built into the lower tray
Discreet sub under the drivers seat.
The front bumper is like new as is the drivers side wing as i just had the bumper resprayed and a new wing fitted (stone chips on bumper and small rust patch wing were the reasons for the paint)
No advisories on the past mot.
Still registered as a 1.4 so insurance is very cheap, never got around to re registering it.
Bad points of the car:
The civic is just starting to suffer from what all ek shape civics go through, with small rust bubbles appearing on the rear arches, right now it has not come through the paint.
There are a few car park dings on either door maybe 5 or 6 on either side.
The new drivers side wing could do with being rolled as the tyre does rub but only on full lock (or raise suspension, not a time consuming one and free)
Few stone chips on the wheels.
Drum rear brakes however the uprated fronts more than make up for this.
I have made the car sound so much worse than it actually is but i want to be totally honest about it, the car is 100% mechanically sound with no squeeks rattles or knocks, nothing.
I was told that it puts out over 190bhp with a 0-60 time of under 6.5 seconds and a top speed of around 140mph, vtec comes in strong and hard and it handles like its on rails, really what more would you like in life?
9 Months MOT
4 Months tax
Please contact me via text or email as i work most of the time so might not be able to answer calls on 07590488106.
If i don't get close to my asking price then i will consider breaking the car (not what i really want to do but far to many dreamers wanting to trade their corsa b's in a straight swap)
£3300 ONO
