Sorry for creating another brake thread.

Hello all, I'm new to the forum and have just bought myself a EJ9 pfl as a project car. I am wanting to do a b18 engine conversion but first I would like to upgrade my brakes/suspension.

Ive seen allot of threads about the 5 stud conversion but I have a set of 15" 8j ET20 Rota grids that I am attached to. I have considered buying new ones but they start at 16" ET10 not sure how these will fit/if offset differs from standard 4x100 already on the EJ9.

I have read various things but can't seem to find the answers I'm looking for.

Will MG ZR 160 front and rear hubs and callipers fit?

I know to convert drums I need vti hand brake cable and some hoses, will trailing arms have to be changed ect?

Thanks in advance

I have a full ek4 vti rear disc conversion for sale. Just needs rear tailing arm bushes replacing. £50 collected

Yes and yes no problem. Text me or ring me 07401007755 thanks

got the rear brakes today, cheers fatboi! just fronts to find now.

Why do you need fronts your ej9 will have 262's up front from stock same as ek4...

You would be better off buying ek9/dc2 or mb6 front and rear callipers (+ carriers), 1" master cylinder and MG ZR 160 discs. that way you have type R brakes but retain 4x100 PCD

Please make sure to change your master cylinder and prop valve :nerv:

Dont think needs the master cylinder for a 262 set up as all he will be changing is the rear drums to callipers. Fairly certain the ek4 has same master cylinder as ej9?

Sorry my bad, I was looking at your post about 282 fronts and 262 rears.

Prop valve is a MUST though!

Thanks for the advice! I thought the pfl Ej9 had 242s on the front?
