ej9 air intake

is there a way i can fit an oem air intake from an ek4 or something similar and make it fit my ej9? i want to be able to fit a front strut, but the upward air filter box on my ej9 is blocking it. i could just fit a cheap ebay induction kit, but would rather something oem

No, you cannot. The throttle body is different on a D series engine. If you want a front strut get something similar to this: NRG Titanium Front Upper Strut Bar - FUNKY POWER that should raise it high enough.
