hi guys.. i got a eg 94 model with d15b engine(bought it second hand) i just want to ask for your opinions..
1st-2nd gear shifting is smooth but when i shift to 3rd gear specially during quick shift the tranny is like crunching even the clutch is floored, it feels like the gears are loose or something like that(i hope you get what im trying to mean). but when i try to drive and shift to 3rd gear and give the engine a little breath it sometimes enters 3rd gear smoothly..
(i asked the previous owner about this and he gave me an answer about the "timing" and "synchronizer").
the rest of the gears are fine its the 3rd gear that is getting me nuts..
i have read here a while ago about a discussion that the 3rd gear is the first to give up in honda cars.(i forgot the thread title)
sorry for the long rant
so what things do i have to check?
what would be the worst thing i am going to expect?
sorry if i have to insert this one..i hope you wont mind.
is the clutch on eg's hard to step on? i mean on my clutch i know i am giving a bit more effort when im clutching.
thanks everyone and Godbless
