Im after a new rad for my eg6 and looking around the more well known brands are big bucks and came across this on ebay, always stayed away from ebay mods but im thinking there isnt much to go wrong with a rad, but you get what you pay for so would anyone trust this on your car??

link is... HONDA CIVIC EK EG VTEC 92-00 ALLOY RACE RADIATOR RAD | eBay

cheers

i got a toyosport alloy rad off ebay for my eg6 about a year ago and was spot on tbh would deffo buy one again, cant see what make the one is that youve listed as i cant get ebay links up at work but sure it would be fine.

Fitted a few of the J performance one's off of Ebay, Fitment is spot on and build quality is spot only thing that lacks on them is the drain plug they use a rubber Oring which don't last long so stick a fiber washer on there and your sorted.

Theses have been flow tested by a couple of member's on another forum against the Koyo radiator and the difference in flow rate was minimal.

spot on, cheers for the info guys im guna get one seeing as ther half the price of others ive seen.

thanks!

i been having my no brand radiator for over 5 years now and still not a single problem

Mines broke because a car accident, I even fix it and it is stilling cooling better then anything. See 63 SOLD and 99.7% positive feedback.

Go for it! They are good! I bought mines for $115.00 with free shipping

Toyosports ftw £64.99 on their website

Running in my 9 for over a year now plus 4 trackdays with it!

Sorry to bump this but I'm in need of a fresh radiator.

Can you still use the standard fan with this?

Apart from changing the drain plug washer any other issues?

Cheers

yeah i fitted standard fan with the toyosport one :)

yeah i fitted standard fan with the toyosport one :)

Sweet!

Another stupid question now, Im sure I've read somewhere that the civic can self bleed itself is this right or?

As i'd like to fit it myself.

when i done mine, i just topped up the radiator then ran the engine with the rad cap off, once its upto temp and the fan ticks over etc the air in the system will rise and escape threw the top of the rad.
