Hi guys
Im in the middle of putting a B18 into my EJ6 coupe, i got 96 spec ITR driveshafts with the engine
I fitted the shafts but ive found the o/s shaft seems to be too short When i have the hub nut tightened up, gearbox oil leaks out the seal where the shaft goes into the box... then if i remove the hub nut i can push the shaft into the box a further couple of inches, which then stops the leak
Are EK9 shafts a different length to ITR ones? i thought all B series ones were the same length
Or does anybody have any ideas what the problem could be?
