as title says i want to buy an oil temperature gauge for my ride
anyone has used one before ?
can anyone help me where to find one ?

i think defi makes the best products but any suggestion is welcome :)

cant see that link jimbob but thats what gauge i run, very high quality stuff by spa as well, defi seems nice and somthin id happily use but spa is prob as good if not better

New SPA dual gauge.. pressure & temp.


I have a SPA dual pressure and temperature gauge.

Anyone who's used these will tell you the quality of them.

The gauges are standard 52mm diameter.

Swithcable red/green/amber display.
Black face and black bezel.
Full kit includes all wiring and sensors.
Inlcudes manual.

£110 incl postage. RRP £165

May even take a p/ex if you have something of interest. WHY.

Just to mention that these aren't restricted to oil.
They will measure any temps or pressures. So fuel pressure, intake temp, water temp, etc... basically any temp/pressure where you want/can fit a sensor.

SPA Dual Gauges



I can also supply a water housing (for B18 Teg.. maybe B16 but need ot check) with the temp (or pressure) sensor fitted if required.

May also supply adapted sump plug for oil temp sensor if required.

Both at extra cost of course.
 
a gauge is a gauge at the end of the day, you dont have to pay defi prices to get a good reliable gauge, if you are seeking one thats purposeful, which it seems to be (if you're just after the looks then you'd want a full set with all the electronic stepper motor wizardry, but thats really not needed). a good mechanical gauge from the likes of omori, pivot etc would be a safe bet, or one of the non-stepper motor electronic ones if you are after something a bit more modern (and plus it means only two wires enter the engine bay rather than a braided hose line).

omori would be a good bet if you can find one, i imagine you could pick one up on ebay for about 50quid.

I recomend PROSPORT gauges, the design is the same of Defi, that Have Peak/warning function, and Dimmer.
