cars down the unit getting all the paintwork/rust sorted, both sides were pretty much rotten in the exact same places so set about getting in all cut away etc

got the rust cut out on both sides and got the new arches cut to shape and spot welded on then set about grinding all the welds down and get ready for first cover up layer

first layer on and ready for the first rub down/shaping of the arch

also got the dings out the front wing

passenger side getting the replacement arch prepped and cut down to what we needed

MAJOR strip down inside, including sunroof and basically everything else and took the chance to get the buddyclub sunroof panel fitted

how its sitting at the moment, looking very sorry for itself but almost ready for primer just need one final rub down all over and masked up then its into primer

aerial will be getting removed, front bumper will be smoothed over and ive also fitted a ek9 recess.

the big rub down started

we masked the car up and interior etc to spray the inside

eventually the painting started

thought id do the brakes etc while it was up on axle stands

then my mate thought he should paint my wheels because tbh they were totally chipped all over and had been painted crappy about 4 times, so the car was put outside on stands

they were painted ford olympic blue, not to everyones tastes but are slowly growing on me and tbh they are winter wheels and tyres anyway, so car ended up like this

number is on the front now and offset down to the side, sorry about the amount of pictures thanks for looking :thumbsup:

thanks alot, the car is totally stripped etc inside and will have a cage(possibley same colour as wheels lol) as soon as i find one, and then plenty track time

bit of a update, me and a mate (jetblack) on here got a mb6 for breaking, he wanted engine etc where as i want the hubs and brakes so on saturday there we set about stripping the old 4x100 hubs off the ek4 and put the new 4x114 hubs and 282's on replaced all disks and pads in the process aswell also gave the car a bit of a clean

also with the interior being totally stripped no sunvisors etc i fitted a big sunstrip so i dont get blinded anymore

hubs/brakes all fitted

a couple night shots

got a bride brix seat and bride super low rail off steve m a while back

things still to fit:
ek SiR mid spoiler
96spec teg wheels will be painted and fitted asap

a few update:

got some gauges off dunk off here, so got them fitted(will get pics up asap) theyre oil pressure/temp and water temp with all senders etc and a greddy sandwich plate

also got my 96spec teg wheels powder coated just need some sticky tyres and also went on a wee trip to east kilbride today to pick up a new exhaust system

its the custom system off andy_redevo4's itb's ek9 so happy with it and hes a great guy to deal with.

will update with loads of new pics soon
