DC5 steering wheel

So today i got my new steering because my ek one is toast! Funny it was cheaper for me to order and import a used one from Canada then to get one here in Japan. It came a little dirty but cleaned up perfect, no scratches or gashes.

I know some people dislike these on EKs, but i like it.....plus i am the one that drives my car! DC5 steering wheel look better (IMO) and have gotten to be way cheaper, as EK9 ones get more rare.

imo ugliness is what keeps prices down :p Why didn`t you go with the ep3 one? many people seem to have a liking for them in their ek`s.
 
might have been cheaper as it looks like a rsx one difference is there is no MOMO stamp ? not 100% sure
 
It has the "MOMO" stamp and is red stitched...dc5 and ep3 are the same steering wheel
 
Nice! they are actually the same to ep3s. Did you have the airbag wheel on the ek9? In my opinion the non airbag steering is great and small too.
 
I have the srs ek steering wheel....my friend has a non-srs model and i am not a fan of that wheel, personal opinion though. Every one has different tastes. Plus i read a lot about adding resistors to trick the srs sytem, read about people having problems in the heat and the light coming randomly on. Plus i have always liked the the wheel with red badge (ep3/dc5). If the s2000 had a red center there would be no question.
 
What is the outside diameter of the DC5 wheel? Is it smaller than the OEM EK4 one? I've always found that it feels a bit on the big side for the size of car.
 
Same size as the ek9 one, feels less bulky to me. I think because it is solid insted of 2 different sections of leather.
