I've done a quick search of the forum and couldn't find anything relating to this

As the title suggests I've been offered the rollcage out my mates DC2 I posted pics of the other week, although I'm not sure whether DC2 cages fit into EK coupes without any hassle/modifying. We're going to test fit it once it's out the car but it would save us the hassle of testing it if somebody knows that it'll definatly not fit

It's a Carbing cage if that might make any difference

Thanks!

i know the cage wont fit a hatch, but with it being a coupe it could fit lol not much help hope it does fit tho

Measure it? Can't see why if it measures up alright it wouldn't fit

Once it's out the car we'll be measuring it and offering it up to my car to see if it fits. Was just wondering if anyone knew for certain to save us wasting time on it if it'll definatly not fit

I'll try and find the dimensions of each car in the meantime to get a rough idea of fitment

This will be amazing if it does mate keep me informed lol

It would probably work out cheaper to go out and buy an EK specific cage rather than buy and modify this one. Tbh I wasn't planning on getting a cage at the moment but I've liked this one for a long time and it's going for a good price..

Would be nice if it was a spot on direct fit! Haha

Well after a quick google it seems like it shouldn't be far off...

Integra Type R: Wheelbase - 2,570 mm (101.2 in)
Length - 4,380 mm (172.4 in)
Width - 1,695 mm (66.7 in)
Height - 1,320 mm (52.0 in)

EK coupe: Wheelbase - 103.2 in (2,621 mm)
Length - 175.1 in (4,448 mm)
Width - 67.1 in (1,704 mm)
Height - 54.1 in (1,374 mm)

So it looks promising! Will need to see how it sits with the curve of the roof etc

Pretty sure all you'd need to so is get an EK cage and extend the rear legs, if you'd even need to do that.

DC2 one will prob need a good bit of cutting and modifying to fit into the Coupe.

Guessing a its Martins one you're after? It is a top notch cage.

I was hoping the fact they're both coupes might be it would fit without hassle but I'm probably just being optimistic haha. Yeah it's Martin's cage, would be awesome to have in the car!

Test fitted the cage today, and it's all good!
The main hoop fits, it's tight on the headlining but that looks like its due to my sunroof, which will be going when a cage is fitted. Front + rear legs fit fine also, the front legs sit a bit further back from the dash than they did in the DC2 but if anything that's a bonus as it allows the glovebox to open far enough to be used

I'm picking it up tomorrow! :D

You got pics mate? Thinking of doing the same

Ek, and ek coupe have the same wheel base so an ek hatch cage wouldn't need any extending.
I have hatch doors and skirts on my coupe, and eg trailing arms with ek9 handbrake cables lol.
