dc2 insurance prices (IRELAND)

well lads was just wondering what prices any of you have paid for insurance on a dc2 type r integra & with what company ,, i havent tried anybody yet ,,

im 24 at the moment but wont get a quote till i turn 25 this month as most insurance companys (in Ireland anyways) say you have to be 25 to insure high proformance motors,, but i managed to insure a glanza v and ek9 startin from the age of 19 , but cost a bit starting off but went down as the years past !

anyways i will be 25 have 5 year no claims bonus,full licence, and no penelty points or endorsements

Im only 20 years old 2 years NCB and im insured on my EK9 for 1850euro and i got a quote for a DC2 and it was 2400euro! That was with quinn so i reckon you should get a very good quote being 25 + 5 year NCB! The best thing to do would be to ring and see!

id say it wont be too cheap for you man but like you said it should only be expensive for the first years insurance on it

I was insured on my integra type R when I was 23.....third party, fire and theft, 4 years no claims for under €1000

got my renewal there in April, was down under €700

sold the teg on and bought an EK9 and the insurance went up by €7 per month no matter how much I stressed its a smaller engine and less power than the teg
