I've tried searching but d2 is a bit of a small search etc..

How low can I go on a set of d2s? Lower than tein superstreet? Are they any good for road use?

Any help appreciated

Yeah they can go alot lower than Tein Superstreet. They give up to 120 mm of a drop from what I can remember. I had them in my old EK9 for 2 years without any problems.

ok cool, I've just done a good bit of browsing on here, is it right I need a new 'fork' to make the backs fit?

As anto said 120mm drop on d2's but think your bumper would be kissing the ground at that

Got them on mine and they are fine, also hear good things about meisterR's and bc-racing coilovers. Not sure on how low they go

Yeah a mate of mine has bc's on his ek9 and the ones he has go 120mm! There also very reasonably priced!

yeah same my mate had d2's on his 9 for a year with no issues but going down more than 100mm is just asking for trouble lol

yup you can get low enough with d2 so that you wont be able to drive it lol
had mine 2-3 years now, no problems so far

thats what I want fairly low for certain things so they sound ideal :) cheers guys

Also have BC's in the Evo and I find them great. If I had to pick I would go with the BC Racing BR Type Coilovers, slightly more expensive but worth it IMO.

have d2's aswell never any problems with them dont think there is any other coilys on the market that will go lower than d2's and ya dont need new forks as the coilys come with rear forks attached

I had D2's on my ITR for more than 4 years. Never had any problems with them regarding knocking or leaking.

the d2's would be a great choice over k sports..ive had the d2's on my car for a year now and with the roads in NEW YORK,they are still riding great

i Had Daiyama's on me delsol then on to me eg6 had them for just over 3 years, pretty much the same as D2's, Meister R's Zeta's are a good buy for the civic's at the moment, Jerrick's a cool guy, drop him a PM on Civiclife for some more info Mark,

im running Cusco's because they came on the car, very stiff mind, not ideal travel for me 7month old boy :) lol

my brother brought tein superstreet, had them a 2weeks then sold them for some d2's not only are they lower but they also seemed stiffer. i also had teins on my supra and didnt rate them on that either. dont think you will have any bother with d2's at all.

go for some meisterR they are plenty low iv got my car kissing the grouind and theres still more to drop and theirs very cheap to buy

LOOOOW...around 120mm i think, put it this way, you can have it scraping the floor on D2's if you want...

too low is a pain in the ass though, trust me, at 120mm drop you will be bottoming out on potholes and bumps!
