Just wondering if anyone is running these as i have found a set at a good price.
What is the ride like on them? I dont want somethink to stiff as roads in the Highlands are not the best.
Thanks

They are good coilovers. They are fixed dampening if I remember rightly so cannot be adjusted but for most that don't want to play about with settings all the time, their ideal.

Better quality than BC and Meister R In my eyes.... but I'm a JDM fanatic so yeah! LOL

As for the ride on them, I forget now, they are obviously firm as they are a Street/Track coilover but can't remember just HOW firm they are.

Assuming your on Facebook and Team VIP on there, most Scotts seem to be? Send Malcolm a message (Malky) as he has some on his EG I think, their either Zero 1's or 2's but he will tell you what the ride is like...... just say Rhys said to ask you. :)

All depends what spring rates are in them but cuscos are quite stiff generally as they're more track orientated coilovers but who cares about comfort, handling is where it's at haha

Hard suspension on rough roads means crap handling! I don't know why people assume that the harder the suspension the better the handling. May as well replace the suspension with some steel profiles, surely that will make stiff enough?

If you can afford them, get them! brilliant quality coilovers. you would need to be sure of the spring rates though as some run quite low rates of 8k front and 5k rear whereas others can be up round 20k which would be back braking.

I'm not meaning silly stiff suspension but something like 10k isn't exactly comfy but handles really well

And for the most I'd you're going for handling it's cause you'll be doing some trackdays so may as well have it best setup for where you are gonna be doing the fastest/hardest driving imo

The car is only for road use and is my first car so comfort is more important than handling for me.

have them in my 9,find them stiff on a back road, even in 1st r 2nd gear, the trotle is so responsive it wud b jumpn wen my foot is shaken on d pedal,on a main twisty road there brilliant:nice:

So you find them quite stiff? We have alot of back roads and just worried they going to be to stiff.

I would suggest to try and find OEM EK9 suspension in good nick. May take a while to find a decent set but it is hard to beat in terms of drivability, handling and quality.

I use to have Zero 2's & loved them until hitting a pothole going 95mph...sheeesh!
