Go for it mate its about 2:45 hours up the m6 from manc.

You three are more welcome to crash after or on the saturday before it for a piss up. Would make the journey less hastle also

would no1 fancy a convoy up to penrith, carlisle, workington/whitehaven or any of the larger towns in the county? just seen as though there is quite an ammount of us it seems a shame to hide away in ambleside all day? i know a few carparks in all those places we could fit in. plus would get a bit of motorway/A road driving as although the roads around the lakes are amazing they are HORRENDOUSLY maintained and seen as though most of us will be in slammed, stiff cars....

just a sugestion...
 
Theres gonna be a drive anyway ellis, i'll be handing maps out on the day with directions just to save anybody getting lost. I just didn't want to post all the details of it on the forums to avoid any hastle from the police etc.
The drive will last about an hour and then we will be stopping off at a pub to finish it off. I just need to book somewhere that is going to be big enough to accomodate us all
 
Also i will be taking into account the quality of the roads when planning out the drive, my cars on its arse too so its not gonna be pothole heaven

Sure iv seen a few names on the fb page who said they are going who are on here, if so get your name down lads, never been a meet in cumbria lets make it a good one!

My bottom end has gone but it should be rebuilt and running in time for this
 
Yeah it lasted 2 days lol. I took it out for a blast and it started knocking like hell after about an hour. Must of been on its way and being sat for 8 months won't have done it any good. Gives me a chance to sort a few bits whime the engine is back out
 
Anyone driving there from Warrington/Manchester way that I could tag along with?
