Creaking?


I'm having similar creaking noises from the front end so I'll be interested to see if anyone can shed any light on yours

Btw where'd you get the TechTom from?

Car came over from japan with it on mate.
 
Right, almost positive this is a gearbox/clutch issue now..

When I dip the clutch as the car is rolling, this noise stops completely. if the car is on full lock at low speed it grinds like hell, then again.. if I dip the clutch, stops.

Anybody shed any light? Gearbox bearings or something?
 
Update on this for those that are interested..

Took the car to Henry Roy and it turns out the noise was the gear STICK/linkages..

Gone now!
 
you said it sound like is coming from the left hand side of the car and it end up being the gear stick and linkages how do they fix it if you dont mind ask as mine is making the same noise thanks.
 
Yeah mate was coming from the left hand corner (passenger side) and I thought it may have been the bushes or suspension, but took it to a Honda tuner and he heard it as soon as he got in the car... after looking round he told me the gear linkages were simply "needing tightened".. so that's all I know dude. hope this helps.

After reading this I bought a set of M Factory solid shifter linkage bushes which have solved my creaking issues also so it looks like we both had the same issue and it was solved by inspecting/replacing the shift linkages :nice:

The old OEM ones that came off looked shagged
