hello all

my neighbour reversed in to the front corner of my car the other day (drivers side) the indicator is totalled and the headlamp bean is all over the place, the bumper is slightly cracked and it looks like it has shifted back a bit,

any idea how much a new bumper would be as i want to get it all done properly as it is him paying?

also are there any brackets that i should look at to see if the damage has gone further back thatn i think.

i have been offered the money to get it done privatly £200 but feel that it might have damaged more than meets the eye,

has anyone been in this position

cheers

Sorry to hear about your neighbours bad driving :angry2:! I just had i little prang in mine which needed a new bumper and possibly a head light. Sorry to say it but £200 is going to be no where near what you need to sort it out! I went to honda to see how much it would be and the quote was £550 for the bumper , light ,fitted and sprayed. The bumper was £200 alone and the light was about £85 + vat lucky he didn't hit your frount lip as well that would be another £200 on top. I could only find one second hand ek9 bumper at www.japandnaparts.co.uk (01618764310) and was £140 +£15 delivery (2000 ek9) They said it had some scratchs on it and they couldn't tell me if it would need a respray or not so i'm still looking .
Hope this helps you and if you find some good parts place let me know beacuse every time i look at my car i want to cry:angry:

dont worry about the details, take it to a proper body shop and have them repair it, they will make sure to fix everything becuase insurance pays for it :)
