Correct Flange?


Defo not the 2.5" collector flange as that's just for 2.5" manifolds.

Prity sure the center section exit on both ek9 and dc2 is 2". Though thought it was the 2" internal 2.25" external donut gasket.
 
you'd need a donut gasket but I don't know what dia, I would have thought 2.25".
 
I am pretty sure that this will work. not 100% though.

This is the exact flange used for a 2.25" manifold and oem ek4, eg6 and other models (cat inlet flange)

You can choose 2" from Tegiwa on the same part. Still not sure if that would be right.

But is the CAT flange the same as the backbox? Thinking about it, it could be.

I'm guessing Honda don't sell the flanges, that would be too easy! :))
 
Tegiwa do sell the 2" bore version which basically is the same part looking at it. The flange of my 2.25" decat I have right in front of me has a 2" bore.

I would have though Honda would have used the same flange for the same type of joint. Makes the original manufacture and production of the exhaust cheaper and easier.
