converting A/C switch to a fog light switch

seeing as the A/C switch does nothing any more, I was wondering if any one played about at the idea of using it as a fog light switch?

If the A/C light in the switch does not activate, unless the fan is on. so was thinking if there some way of re wiring it to the lights, so that I can use it to activate a relay for the fog lights?

Has anyone played about with this yet?

shouldnt be too hard if you had a connector you could splice into, to get your live, earth and switch. must look into it if i ever ditch my ac.
