So when I got the car it had a slight weap from the cam end seal and the vtec solenoid. Other than that everything working super fine.
Engine bay looked like this when I got it...
So a few days back we decided to tackle everything...
PasswordJDM cam end seal done
New Honda vtec solanoid gasket done
Rocker cover referbed and all new Honda gaskets
New rocker earth strap
AEM long arm induction
Rocker breather reroute to catch can
whatever the the little pipe is that went into the intake as well as the breather now goes into the breather hole on the AEM
coolant feed from the top of the block now goes straight to the inlet rather than through those metal pipes to warm the breather
Think that's it, and engine bay now like this (picture always help me)
So now everything runs and sounds fine with no oil leaks however I am getting a code 22 error on the little flashing LED in the ECU window which is...
Vtec oil pressure switch
The CEL only comes on after being in vtec, if I stay in vtec and keep thrashing the car no CEL as soon as I calm down, like back to 3000rpm the light comes on, after I restart the car the CEL is off again but comes on again if the same happens. If I drive around never hitting vtec it never comes on.
Really bugging me that after doing all that work it seems more broken, so any ideas? Any help appreciated...
