clutch for EJ9 d14z2 2000 hatchback

Hi a couple weeks ago i bought a new clutch for my honda EJ9 d14z2 off tegiwa imports, i only got round to fitting it yesterday and after alot of work managing to get the gearbox off, i found that i have been sent the wrong clutch or bought the wrong one, so as the car was apart now i didnt want to put the old one back as the release bearing has alot of play and one of the springs on the clutch plate is almost falling out.... so i went to eurocarparts and gave my reg to them soo i could get the correct clutch for my car, got back home and found that this one is also too big!! it is the exact same size as the one sent from tegiwa. i have checked the engine code on the engine to check it has not had a conversion over the years and it is a d14z2

has any one came across this before ???? or does any one have any infromation about this why my clutch in the car is smaller ????

it must have been it has done 128,000 miles soo must of had another one in there before. i was thinking some one along the line may have changed the flywheel and clutch for some reason but dont know, thats why i asked on here to see if any one else has had this problem before.
 
What size clutch would you need? As I need a new clutch aswell
 
I suggest calling Tegiwa and sending them some detailed pics and specs like measures of your original clutch kit to see of they can identify it and send you the proper for your application, they have good customer service, ask for Johnny and good luck.
 
Danny....have you tried GSF car parts....I got an Exedy one not long back, fitted perfect
Part no on the box was: HCK2020 (189ho430) 3 part clutch kit.
