Clio/MR2? opinions

lol Yeah but thats me driving normally and I've only got 90 bhp :woot:

So if you were to get a 172 you'd get less coz you wanna drive faster haha

Well yeahhhhhhhh… but I wouldn't have to rev the balls of it to get to 60 :)
ATM I have to drop down a gear to overtake really how every with well over twice the torque ill just poke the accelerator
I think ill just have to see how generous santa is feeling lol :win:

I really dont have the gentleman vegetables for that. as much as i want VTEC in my life

1.5 vtec? get a good 1.5 vtec and with a few breathing mods there supposed to be pretty nippy, would do you until you saved for insurance on a vti/9er

That just seems like a waste of time for me tbh
Believe it or not the insurance 3rd party for the Clio and that 1.5 vtec isn't that different, and it's hard to find a ek3 in decent condition

I'd never leave the forum it's self :) its to entertaining :woot:
Just wish civics were cheaper to insure lol

I would keep your EJ and just save up. Either that or buy a **** load of stuff you can fit to an EJ that will swap to an EK9 when the time comes.

I wouldn't touch a 172 unless it was an absolute minter. Brother has had way too many problems with his so I wouldn't bother. An MR2 on the other hand I would have, mk.1 or mk.3 are the best ones IMO. The mk.2's didn't really do it for me and the turbo ones had a reputation as a widow maker.

I know what your saying but I would be waiting atleast another 2 years before I could do that and adding extra stuff is only guna make the car look better, I'm still going to only have a D14 at the end of the day and I'm not willing to do an engine swap or turbo
Decisions decisions :) haha

I also have the issue of the fact I refuse to to pay over £1500 for insurance lol

Personally I'd be saving up for an engine swap like a B16a2 and all the running gear mods that I'd like to have, then when you can afford the insurance fit it all and have what I'd always wanted but couldnt afford.

I've owned an R5 GT-Turbo and would never own another French car, I've also owned an Alfa 33 Cloverleaf and wouldnt own another old Alfa either.

Why would it be £1500 in a couple years? A 172 isn't gunna be cheap on insurance. I deffinatly would want fully comp aswell

Hmmm...... MR2 would be my choice. MR layout for the driving experience, but you'd have to adapt your driving style!

Well I could get a 172 for less then 3000. So I don't mind 3rd party for that. Where as if I was to get an ek9 I would want a decent one there for want fully comp. And ATM it's over 3000
See what I mean? Lol
Feeling pretty FML about cars ATM lol
