Cleaning 'AEM filter'

Does anyone no whats the the best way to clean my aem filter 'cold air intake'took my bumper of to waxoyl the front panel ,noticed the filter look a little dirty,someone said petrol any ideas

use air cleaners, the best way to clean your air filter! try to contact with the AEM guys, they should let you know which is the best way, never.. never ever! use petrol or brake fluid as they said you, good luck!

I used a K&N air filter cleaner on My AEM cleaner. Its all the same thing and it did wonders. My filter was BLACK, after cleaning it, it looked ALMOST back to new, you could actually see the old red color coming out. I think it cost me 10 bucks at the auto store. Good Investment. plus you can use it multiple times

there is also a product you can apply to the filter after you clean your filter, i will take a picture to the bottle today, it helps to grab more dirt! i use it! its great!
