Civic insurance!

Hi all. I have just been looking through some insurance companies online and getting quotes. So I though I would try a quote for a 2002 civic type r EP3. Im 19, passed one year ago with 1 years no claims. The quote came back £500 cheaper than the quote I had for an EK9! Why is this? Is it the fact that the EK9 is an import?

Yeah good point! lol! I'm still going for an EK9 I was just curious to see what quotes I would get!

man i feel sorry for you guys! you get ripped off on insurance in comparison to us & we complain that's it's expensive!!!
