Have Civic ek4 and ek9 the Same big brake booster? Tanke You
I believe you can swap a brake booster from a 98-01 Integra, and the master cylinder (if you dont yet have the 1" master cylinder-Direct bolt on). I'm not sure of part numbers- but I would assume they are they same size as the EK9's.
For those who are in the know any input is welcome.
Yes motor mo they are interchangeable
Thanks. This is a swap that will hopefully be handled this weekend on my own project. Have a DC2 donor car in my driveway just throwing parts at my EJ6 haha. Knowing they're interchangeable, I still wonder about the part numbers- I'm sure that info is out there if I dig. Thanks for your input.
Best change it to the EK9, I went from rear drums to 242 disks/calipers (refurbished) and upgraded the fronts to 4 pots on my EJ6 coupe, but haven't upgraded master cylinder and servo, had my MOT yesterday and the guy said the rear is very weak, with brake efficiency just passing
