Been on the lookout for a civic eg for a while now and when this appeared I couldn't resist
Life started off as a eg4 imported around 3 years ago, so should be fairly clean. Unfortunately owner doesn't have any paper work. The previous owner has had it for around a year and within that time he's swapped in a b18c4, work was carried out by jamtech. Apart from the swap the car is fairly standard.
So after arranging transport to go down to Birmingham, don't the deal and was sold to me
Car on arrival
Looks fairly clean from afar minor dents that could do with some TLC. Car was planned to have a full respray inside and out so was not put off by the bodywork
The day after the long journey back to glasgow
Car came with a set of front and rear bumpers. Few scuffs and minor imperfections
Spec: b18c4 swap
P30 ecu
282 fronts
Vti rears
Bride (fake) steering wheel
Snap off boss kit
Crz del sol seats
Tyre r gear knob
Soon as I got it back it was booked straight into Andrew @ Automek. Anyone who has used Andrew can vouch that he is one of the best mechanics and his service is excellent. Car was booked for a full service and a complete check over
Car came back with a few advisories, nothing that couldn't be sorted.
When the car was up on the ramp this give me an opportunity to check underneath. Fair to say I was happy at how clean it was, never managed to take a pic
Spirit r ambered comers were bought to replace the old ones
Got a set of jdm ambered side repeaters off eBay for £5
Wondered why I never had any rear license plate lights! no bulbs!
Luckily I always have spares
Also noticed this. Can't complain free bulb
Got a newish front wing and fitted along with the ambered corners
Bumper and bonnet has seen better days
Then it was time to drive the car down to the unit so work can finally begin
This was the car after trphe 1st day of prepping
Over the next few weeks took delivery of a few parts
Skunk2 intake manifold
Dc2 oem air box
20litres of 10w 40, because you never know when you might run out
Buddyclub short shifter
Spare dash
Skunk2 70mm throttle body
Asr brace
Bc coilovers
Saving the best for last, bought these off kipper
Quite a few things left to buy and with track day being less than a month away it's becoming stressful!
C&C welcome
