Is there somebody who is able to give me a japanese domestic market Civic Coupe frame number?
Via PM if not interested in public viewing.
best regards
Oliver

Doesnt matter which one it is. I found out a EJ1 number but thats pretty much it. And I read that the EM2 never reaches Japan. So it could only be the EJ1, EJ2, EJ6, EJ8, EM1 and maybe EJ7
Do you have one for me?

Can I ask what you need it for, You do know the EJ1/2 and EM1 are completely different chassis. as in one is 92-96 EG platform and the other 96-00 EK

of course I want to look up some different part numbers because I am very interested in these different details from other domestic market vehicles. The Civic 92-00 is a hobby of me. I like to compare partnumbers to find out what honda changed to other markets. The internet isnt really full off reliable informations. You can call me a freak but for me its a passion :)

Japan only had the EJ1 and EJ7 coupes , both with D16A's .

For the EJ1 pick a random number inbetween 1300000-1400000 and the EJ7 1600000-1700000 .. you should be able to find one that way

Many thanks for that info. The EJ7 only work as 160 for the 96 model. Didnt they had 97-00 Civic Coupes in Japan? The EJ7-180 for example is a 98 4 door GX CNG Gas Civic.
best regards
Oliver

Does anybody have some more informations about these japanese Coupes EJ1 and EJ7? Any more infos about the D16A engine? Ist it more an economy engine or more performance orientated? Some engine specs would be great.

Yes it will only work to 1699999 for the EJ7 . There was no ''facelift'' coupe in Japan . The EJ7-180 would be the american built natural gas powered civic from 1998.

If you want JDM specs on cars , the original Goo-Net website is the best but you will have to use a translator .

For example here are the JDM civic coupes , click the area under ''grade name'' for detailed information on each model

Thanks a lot. Do you understand japanese?
Interesting is the fact they only did 753 EJ7 Coupes for Japan, only 3 colors were available (black, silver and green) and that they all had HMM gearboxes.

No problem . No I don't fully understand Japanese , only some phrases and words I frequently see , would I know.

Yeah they were never big in japan , although now I think they are sought after for USDM groups
