chipped p30 problem!

Hi guys, couldnt find anything yo help me with this problem but bacically i have just fitter my chipped p30 into my ek4 with b18c. Now i have a basemap for a b18c that has been changed to p30 code. So i burnt it onto the chip using crome and my ostrich emulater. Started the car fine but it idles at 2000rpm and the enginemanagment light is on :/ idle is set to 850 rpm on the map so not sure why its doing this. Any ideas ?

read the CEL blink codes and that should tell you the problem. what ECU is it (JDM small case or a regular large case one). if you just get a solid CEL light and it wont rev past about 3.3k rpm it is probably not reading the chip and gone into limp mode.

thanks for the reply mate, the code was 22 vtec pressure switch. Didnt realuse i had to dissable the vtp on crome so now it all works fine :) next step is afr so i can map it.
