Mileage: 124,400 approx (mixture of kilometres and miles) -approx 100k miles
Description:
After owning Honda’s for over 10 years, it’s now time for me to sell my much loved 2000 EK9 Rx and move onto another Jap performance car that can accommodate the growing family. I have bought a 4wd turbo four door car, so I will now be seldomly using the 9, it’s a shame as I had lots of new parts lined up for it (see my other for sale threads).
The later Rx model refinements:
- Electric Folding Mirrors
- Electric Windows
- Power Steering
- Alloy Pedals
- Carbon Fibre Effect Centre Console
- Genuine Honda Wind Deflectors
- OEM rear window tints
Apart from the standard spec it has the following upgraded parts:
Engine
- JDM B18C Integra Type R engine (standard internals)
- Magnecore leads
- AEM V2 induction kit
- Greddy Oil Filter relocation kit
- Edelbrock Performer X inlet manifold
- Cam cover refurbished by Spooner on ITR forum last year
- De-cat pipe (standard cat included)
- Spoon N1 muffler with Spoon silencer
- Mugen 1.3 radiator cap
- Spoon Resevoir socks
- Skunk2 gearbox and sump magnetic plug
- Air con deleted (OE parts supplied)
The car drives well and is mechanically sound, always warmed up and cooled down properly. No black/blue smoke on VTEC or anywhere in the rev range, No strange knocks or bangs, I never have to top up oil between oil changes and the level on the dipstick remains at the top, so it’s a nice and healthy engine. The engine starts from cold or hot and idle sits at 800RPM constantly as it should.
Drivetrain
- JDM 4.4 Final Drive S80 ITR LSD gearbox
- F1 Lightweight Flywheel
- ACT stage 1 clutch kit
- Buddy Club Short Shifter
- M Factory uprated shifter & linkage bushes
Gearbox has a slight crunch at high RPM sometimes going from 2 to 3 (intermittently). Other than that other gears drive normally at any RPM.

- HEL braided front hoses
- Dot 5.1 brake fluid
- OEM EK9 15" alloys with Toyo Proxe T1R tyres all with 5mm+ tread left
Handling
- BC Coilovers (10kg front 8kg rear)

Interior
- Drivers side low position seat rail
- Alpine stereo ipod/cd player

Interior condition is very good, the Recaro bolsters are good and snug no rips, tears or sagging. All electronics and controls are working as they should. Pictures show driver seat plastic cover missing, but I have it, just forgot to put it back on
Exterior
- 6000k HID conversion
- Rear arches sealed with Waxoyl
- Car is fully under sealed
- New genuine Honda red H badges front & rear when I bought the car.
- Thatcham cat 1 alarm system (with certificate)
There are some stone chips on the front lip and bumper and one on bonnet above head light, I did drive the car everyday so it's to be expected.
Recent service parts/works include:
-Genuine Honda cam belt and Koyo tensioner changed (700 miles ago with receipt)
-Two front wheel bearing changed (700 miles ago with receipt)
-Rear nearside wheel bearing changed (last year with receipt)
-Nearside and offside engine torque mounts replaced last year
-Oil and oil filter changed 400 miles ago
Oil has been changed every 3000 miles with Castrol GTX Magnatec 10w40 and Hamp filter by myself ever since I have owned the car. Plugs were changed around 5000 miles ago with NGK Iridium.
I have a folder of receipts and the import documents etc. The car is fully HPI clear.
Serious buyers and any sensible offers only. I won’t entertain any time wasters, dreamers, tire kickers etc.
