hey so ive been having some central locking issues on my civic..i have a toad alarm and immobilizer with a handheld fob...so when i use the fob to lock the doors it leave my drivers side still open (but tries to lock)..and then if i go to open the door the alarm goes off..so i have been resorting to locking the car manually with my key...which it works fine with?....does anyone know what my problem may be?...also dont no if this is connected but the window is very slow to go up and down on that side also..

Open the door panel and inspect the system to see if anything is preventing it from working as it should

il take a look next time ive a hour or two to pass....would it be mechanical or electrical by what ive shared would you know?...or both?

Mine did the same about a year ago and in the end I just put some wd40 on the mechanism and it sorted but I didn't sort it for a while and it broke the central locking control unit and that was £160 ish from Honda so i wouldn't leave it to long be for sorting it

Mine did summit similar. On the drivers side, inside the door, take the lock mech out and there was a switch on the bottom of it that sort of rotates incised itself. Had moisture in it. Baffled me for weeks. Worth a look tho cuz sounds quite similar. You gotta strip quite a lot out inc the door handle
