You can quickly assess if it's flooding or not. Just turn it over a few times, then whip the injector plugs off and turn it over again for a few of seconds, if it starts up and runs for a few seconds or you here her fire and splutter out then it's flooding.
Flooding would make sense but then I would of thought it'd run very rough if bump started, and, you say you can start her with the key after it's been running a while? Would imagine flooding would be worse when the engines up to temp and hence give you the same issue
