car insurance for ek9

alright boys, just looking for some info on car insurance in the republic of ireland that would insure an ek9, i had one already 2 years ago but had to sell after a few months because of my child, only had it 3 months, i got insurance for 800euro or somthing like that, i was 25 when i got the car, i am now goin on 27 in march and im looking to get another type r and i cant seem to get insured anywhere, its a joke, britton insurance qouted me 1500euro or something stupid like that, there is no where on earth im paying that, what is the story with insurance? does anyone here know of any insurance companys in the republic of ireland that will insure me and not rip me off????? :angry2:

i tried a few places, chill.ie only gave a third party quote which was 860euro or sumtin, first ireland seem to be the cheapest at 680euro, had to reply to make sure it was fully comp, waiting to hear back from them.
 
you could also try excessdirect.ie aswel mate.. just make sure you lower the excess for your quote because it starts off at 4000 euro!!!
