Can anyone help identify this coilover

Can anyone with a good eye identify this coilover from these rubbish pics.

no idea, looks like the cup is fixed at the bottom of the spring which would lead me towartds ebay type lower sleeve coilovers.

Thank you for your input mate, they kind of look like d2 coilovers but im not too sure.
 
Really stiff isn't always really good bud, I understand why you'd think that but the aim of suspension is to keep the tyre on the ground over bumps etc, if the sus is too hard your going to crash into the bumps and essentially skip over them(leaving the tyre in the air and thus useless)

For reasons I can't explain(lack the technical knowledge) decent branded suspension have clever ways of running large springrates(really stiff) and still maintain ability to keep the tyre in contact with the ground.


If I was you I'd go for a set of meister R or BCs or similar, I've ran zeta r on my old ek9, handled great IMO
 
Unless they are really cheap, then you can give it a go I suppose lol

This is really interesting mate thank you for advising me. I remember ages ago you mentioning that you are running cuscos and were looking to upgrade to something stiffer. It got me thinking that meister and bc are probably on the same level as cuscos and they aint good enough for you. Comfort doesnt bother me at all the rawer the better lol.
 
My cuscos are definitely softer than the zeta r I had.
Problem with someone saying they are really stiff is its objective isn't it.
What I may think is stiff, you may think is soft...
 
Wouldnt say the zeta r aren't good enough, I actually looked into getting another set with slightly stiffer springs on not long ago but my cash ran out lol
 
That is very true about being subjective.
Going to see how i get on at rockingham im in no rush for coilies mite bite the bullet in the future. You going to come rockingham mate its before japfest.
 
To be honest they look in pretty bad shape anyway, I would hold out for something better,

I picked up a set of hsd monopro's (same sort of league as bc/miester and all the others) that were 2 months old for £300,
You just got to be patient and keep searching eBay for things that are listed poorly or spelled incorrectly

Good advice mate, i was looking at the hsd for sale on here but they came of a dc2 i dont want to messing around to make them fit.
 
If the car is ready and there's a spot at rockingham I'll come down.
Could be tight though.
 
I have D2 coils on mine and colour is similar so unless they are re sprayed they should be D2 coils
 
These not Gaz ? I maybe way off but is hard to tell by the pictures lol.

Just poke about on the Honda parts Facebook pages for bargains because scene kids don't know the value of stuff so prices are all over the shop lol, seen some zeta rs up for like 300 once same with hsds.

Colour looks a fair bit different from D2's and the set I had, like suggested I'd keep my eyes out for other sets coming up decent priced, I went from D2's to bc's and they're much better in my opinion
 
Coming to see the pics again seems like the D2's are more purplish in colour.....the pics of the OP are more on the bluish side so most probably not D2's
