camera picking help

thinking of getting a camera.
maybe some kind of slr or something wanna keep the price under 400 euro but closer to 300
i dont know to much about cameras below is two that I have been looking at

I wouldnt be a fan of hybrid camera's myself. You could get yourself a beginneres SLR for that money. I'd also be sticking to nikon or canon, the rest seem to be lacking compared to them two maufacturers. I'd either get a good compact or a decent SLR.
