cambelt length?? b16 with itr head

i have a b16 a2 with itr head and 2.5 mm headgasket to allow valve clearence with large cams are there any other in house honda cambelts that are slightly longer than the standard b16a2 cam belt as it does not quite fit

there should be enough play in a b16 belt, a b18 one would be too long - have you decked the block or taken a lot off the head as you shouldnt need to run such a size of belt regardless what cams you are running

ITR head is the same height as the B16a2 head.

they share the same cast even. Only the ITR heads got some port/polish done. So b16 cambelt it is . B18c-r would be to long

The b16 one just doesn't fit tried it all ways. A friend of mine has told me i could use B18 belt and water pump as the pump has a larger diameter pulley and would take up some of the slack. Is this true or fairtale? ?

Only the block height is different between B16 / B18.Just a thought have you released the auto-tensioner? What water pump are you running?
