Caged Thunder Grey EK KSWAP Progress - k20 Purchased


Thanks buddy, yeah hoping to get a few track days under my belt once the car is completed :)
 
Disaster this afternoon. Got the new tyres on the new wheels and when the guys went to put them on the car, the wheels arnt clearing the 282 calipers :no:

So i need to put the 262s back on until to get them to work

Its never easy...
 
Guys please excuse the really bad pic, i literally just ran outside the office and took it lol Il take it away when i get some good photos. The pic dont do the wheels any justice at all and look better in the flesh




Oh and the wheels fit with loads of clearence with 5mm spacers each side :)
 
Not much of an update, but i will be fitting my aerial blanking plate this evening and hopefully my bride :)

Okay guys heres a few updates over the last week or two



Picked up my hybrid racing k swap harness :)













And fitted my bride :D









The first day i had the bride fitted i thought i was gonna sell the seat straight away as i found it a weird setting position, but i couldnt drive without it now! Its brilliant!



I also purchased a mugen front lip :) I recently got a type r front lip but id like to do something a wee bit different, so went and got a mugen/



Purchased a EK9 badgeless grill also to see what it looks like, but honestly i love my SIR grill lol



I entered the car into the Honda haven drag championship also too see how it gets on :) Thought i may aswell as the tracks only 3 miles from my house lol Its 3 events, march, june and september. In March i will be running the B18 but will be running the K20 in the other 2 races :) Im not going for the win or anything, im going just as practice as ive never done anthing like this before and think it would be a good start :)


Will also be getting my hasport shafts today :D

Thanks Glen :) Test fitted my mugen lip yesterday and it looks fantastic! Its getting sprayed as wee speak :)
 
Okay so washed the car today and took some better pictures of the lip and grill, although they are still taken with an iphone and poor quality lol

I was gonna head but didnt bother in the end, heading to paris at the end of the month then to manchester to see man utd v man city at the end of march, so funds are low this month! lol
