burnt smell.

hi guys.need your opinion.this morning when i am in vtec.i smell something like a burnt smell.anyone have experince this?when im off vtec, after a while, the smell is gone.what could it be?piston ring?there is no smoke.my engine seems fine.no unusual sound of anything..

Did you spill any oil on your exhaust manifold?

yeah i get it sometimes to, when driving the car hard the manifold/exhaust etc heats up more than normal burning away whatever **** maybe on/in your exhaust, if you dont drive it hard often that maybe all it is

check it.no oil...or anything on exhaust manifold....argh...hate this...
