Buddy club spec 2 fitment

Hello everybody I just recieved my buddy club spec 2 exhaust, and It was supposed to be for my 97 civic ex sedan, I didn't try to fit it yet but they sent me a eg sedan version, would I have to just cut the hangers and reweld them to make it work? I'm really pissed with the company because I doubled checked with them to make sure it was the right model and they said yes everytime and when I get it , BAM! Wrong part number. I'd rather custom it on then wait to return and wait another 2 weeks. So if there's anything you people know, give me a shout. Thanks!!!!
 
Would the eg/ek sedan not be the same fitment tho?same as eg and ek hatchbacks are the same??
 
I think kellsled may be right, though I'm not sure. But if you're wanting to start chopping it up to get it to fit, why not just line it up first and see whether it actually fits, before you start working out how to modify it. Surely that would be a better approach, cause then if it doesn't fit, you'll be able to work out what needs modifying
 
Eg/Ek fitment for a spec2 is the same as kellsled stated

If it's the exact exhaust he needs it's pointless sending it back tho,why not measure old one from hanger to hanger and see if it's the same or not
 
Thanks for your comments everyone, I slapped it on and the mid pipe that has 2 hangers doesn't match mines if I put on one the it's all angled weird, so I'm waiting on the company to send me a new one.
