Bride Seats Replicas - see models inside.

Nuno, I'm after some Kevlar backed buckets but SPG style/fixed position style. Black preffered. What you got for me :)

Look nice but they are fakes, original are far better

Big statement to make without a proper comparison, don't get me wrong i personally would love real brides myself.

But in at over 1k new per seat, how many genuine ones do you think are really about?

Nuno

Just noticed this page Nuno!

Liking the enterprise you've got going here! Be interested to see what you come out with buddy!

Nuno - i in no way intend to Crap on your thread.

for the slight niggles with looks.. the price far out weighs this :nice:

Just wondering, where do you stand legally with these seats mate ??

As far as i'm aware to create a complete copy and then use the company logo to which the company has no idea, is illegal and against international Copyright law ? just wondering if you had looked into this at all ?

These seats comply with BS5852 part 1 - Fire safety test

are fully FIA homologated and comply with ECE r17.

these are as safe as any seat you guys sit on a daily basis.

I'm going to ask a question which could be taken the wrong way, i hope you don't but I'll say first that it doesn't bother me if they are fake are what not but this is a question a potential buyer may have.

You say they are FIA homologated, now have these seats actually been tested with test results? Or are they just in regulation with the rules? Because section 5 of the FIA standard for competition seats states that the seat should have a label to say that it has been passed by the FIA and I couldn't see these in the photo's.

Not trying to start an argument just pointing out what I had noticed and perhaps some people would want justification.

But anyway these look good rep's surprised that there hasn't been a lot of interest though. GLWS :nice:

Real eanough to be overpriced.

If these are coming from thailand then no they wont have passed any tests to be deemed safe for road use. Have seen pictures of these seats breaking at the mounting points in crash's.

Dunno if these are from thailand or what the script is though...

Exactly what was on my mind. :nice:

As a matter of interest i txt the guy who sells Bride seat from the UK on ebay. I sent:

'Hi, can you tell me if your BRIDE seats are genuine. Thankyou. Shay'

to which he replyed.

'Hi They are not from Japan. Bride is legally trademark registered in different countries under various different ownership'

To me this was a very avasive answer, which said they are. Strange responce though.
Slightly more on topic these reps look very good.

Nice, are Bride up there with sparco / recaro ect?
Never heard of them till now.

Bride are very highly regarded as a leading brand for seats in the japanese tuning world.

So all the extra cash the brides cost is just jdm nonsense?

I'm sure a genuine BRIDE seat is very good quality and a very good piece of kit. As to whether they are worth the immense price tag is in the opinion of the person looking to guy 1/2. I persaonally couldnt justify that sort of money on a seat. I also wouldn't be putting anything 'fake' on my car either.

This means as an example thailand the bride trademark is worthless anyone can make bride seats no laws against it. i live in thailand btw so i know this thier about £100 each out there and are obviously cheap rubbish, looks pretty though even has bride labels on them everything
