Steven makes a good point on the cooling, essential for brakes to keep temps down



we made these for ek9/dc2 and the improvement is staggering, still collecting data to quantify how much better but im sure theyve already paid themselves off

air is directed as much as possible towards the centre of the disc too and not the disc face so as not to cool one side of the disc much more than the other...risk cracking the disc otherwise

replaces the factory dust shields for some weight savings too

These look good! any fitted pictures?
 
hmmmm that will explain why you're trashing pads then!

I would add some cooling, BUT remember and give a wee left foot feather of the brakes after taking the main straight & first left hander - amazing how cold your brakes get after that!!!!


Thanks mate, I'll look at making some ducting for the brakes, get a grinder to the bumper.

Good point on the brakes, cooling, first time i'll be doing the main straight.
