hi im still very new to the Honda world , and everyone would be glad to no I was all dub nut but not anymore . I have been looking on another forum about upgrading my brakes , I understand that I can use mg zs brakes , so I can keep my 4x100 pcd . but I have a few questions I was hoping someone can help we with ?

1. what exactly parts wise do I need ?
2. do I need to upgrade to a 1" master cylinder ?
3. is there a how to ?
4. do I need to modify anything or is it a direct fit ?

thanks jt

probably loads of info on the web in general if you search but

1. assuming your base car has a 262mm disc setup already then you just need MG ZS180 discs and calipers and carriers from the same, 98spec ITR, EK9, MB6 or certain prelude and accord models with 282mm front discs.
2. not essential (i didn't) but you will find the pedal travel a little longer if you keep your 15/16" one.
3. same as replacing like for like, you just put in the new parts. search on youtube you'll find something.
4. should all just bolt up as is.

ok saying I didn't at a guess I would need

front/rear callipers and carriers
front and rear discs
ek hand brake cabels
new brake lines
and disc brake trailing arms from a ek , mb or such likes
have I missed anything

Is your ej9 facelift ?

I think facelift ej9`s came with 262mm as standard
