Hi guys,

Doing an ABS delete on my Ek..seen a few guys running braided hoses from the master cylinder to the prop valve instead of hardlines...is this any better?i wouldnt think so since they move around and they have different diameters from stock?

Any pros or cons? Pls advice..thanks.

personally i would run hard lines - you can reuse the rear hardlines if replacing an EK ABS prop with a non ABS prop, so would look a bit off

also ALOT cheaper to do hardlines, even when i removed the prop and run an in car adjustable bias i ran hard lines to each corner / through the car then just ran flexi's from the standard wheel arch locations

x2 i used hardlines, seen some braided fail before! i used cupro nickel piping, its better and lasts longer than your standard stuff, can be bought on ebay cheap enough!just get a flaring tool bend all your pipes neatly and flare each end!

Depends what sort of braided lines you are talking of? Every btcc, wrc, dtm car use goodridge, earls, aeroquip an type braided hoses throughout the whole car without any problem. Maybe if you employ a monkey to assemble the lines they may leak.

Unless its a race car, go hardlines. -AN lines on race cars are for when bad things happen like contact with a wall, faster to replace a pre cut and assembled hose. Not really needed on a street car.
