Brad's 96spec integra type r *update 10/7/12*

here's a few more bits ive done :)

Ive always wanted a 98spec rear bumper as im not a massive fan of the 96spec. I managed to find one at a breakers yard for £100 and it was in really good condition just a few bits where lacquer had peeled slighty.

Looks stunning now mate, what do you think of the air filter? I was thinking about getting one. :)

i will be honest i cant notice any differents power wise but it was worth it just for the noise at cross over :D

Looks great man, very clean. I'm tempted to get a whales cock just for the crossover alone haha

another slight update.

My rear trailing arm bushes were very worn and needed replacing along with some of the anti roll bar bushes. In the end i bought energy suspension bushes for the rear trailing arms and super pro bushes for the anti roll bar.

I had them all fitted and it made a massive differents and transformed the back end :D

Ever since ive had the car one of the studs that holds the camcover in place was snapped just below the cover causing a bit of oil to leave onto the cover. So i ordered one from hendy's :)

I then bought myself a suede dish steering wheel to replace the awful wheel that came with the car

right another update.

Since ive bought the car ive been meaning to sort out the shocking 262mm 96spec brake's

I decided to buy s2000 calipers, civic type r (ep3) disc's and pads. I had to get a local engineering company to redrill my disc's to 4stud

All in all its cost me just under £200 to upgrade :)

Very nice update mate, brakes are something on my list and your setup seems very good value for money.

Is there much of a weight difference with your new brake discs compared to your old ones?

Looking very smart and very clean, keep it up!

savage progress man

Thanks. There's a slight differents but nothing massive. They feel 100% better and has given me alot confidence late breaking etc.

They are very easy to change. Just remove the cam cover and you need either a 10mm or 12mm cant remember and just undo the old one's and replace with the new bolts. Took me about 10mins to change,

iirc they are about £4 each from honda the part number is 90014-pr3-000

Cool, nice work mate.

Did you DIY the trailing arm bushes at home or did you use a press etc? I need to replace mine, as they're perished.

I had a garage do them. They didnt need to remove the arm to get the bushes out. It took them about an hour to change them.

well i found a kit on ebay to upholster the door cards a different colour.

Its the same material as the seats so it match's really well. Took about an hour to do both door cards. It was a pita but well worth it.
