hi guys I've nearly got this car together. I'm doing the lines for the wg and boost solenoid but have stumbled as there is no boost reference point to tap into between the impeller housing and throttle body? I'm running a Garrett gt30 and it doesn't have a smaller outlet next to the main outlet as I had expected' this is with a go autoworks pro kit. Can I just use a port off the intake manifold or does the wg/solenoid need to be piped from before the throttle body as in never gets vacuum? Hope this makes sense.

I tapped into my ic pipe closest to the compressor with a 1/8 npt valve, works perfectly n opens the wg when it should

I believe close as possible to the compressor is what you should be aiming for.
It's easy enough to pull the compressor housing off and tap into that? That's all the manufacturer does anyway...

A lot of people use the IM as that is the pressure your car is seeing. Accounts for any pressure drop etc through the IC

I would go for closest to the turbo for the wastegate/solenoid. So IC piping or off the turbo. Use the Intake manifold port for your dump valve if your using one.

Thought I'd heard a video of yours chattering it tits off. My bad

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm going to try and get it started this weekend so will use the manifold ports. Once it's started its away to get the exhaust so will probably try and get fitting welded into the ic pipe at the same time.

Also guys can someone confirm if I have this right in my head before I do it.... Take a boost reference from a port where ever that is for the time being. T piece from that port with one line going to the lower air entry on the side of the wg, the other side of that t going to the boost control solenoid port 1 and then port two of the boost solenoid to the top air inlet on the wg?

I've not used s300 system before but that's how my apexi avcr is plumbed in.
Can't see it being any different.
