Hi guys, my bonnet release handle on my EK3 has snapped off from the cable, does anyone know the part number for this by any chance, an idea as to cost and also is it hard to replace yourself?

Its just the handle I need and not the cable! Cheers :)
 
Not too sure maybe someone on here can help. What I normally do is just call my local Honda parts and just ask them. Lucky for me they are helpful :) Good luck.
 
Called Honda they want £50 for the handle and cable all in one as the handle doesn't come separate, apparently! Talk about a rip off or what?????

Does anyone know by any chance if this part could be bought elsewhere apart from Honda and any ideas as to the difficulty in fitting this by any chance??
 
mine is also broken.. but you can still grip it and open it though..

Lucky you I cant open mine at all now as the cable was very hard when pulling in the first place thats why I think the handle snapped and also cos it was freezing outside and we all know what happens to plastic when its cold! Arghhhh...! :(
