Hello from Cyprus,

Been watching this forum since a long time ago (3 years) and i decided to go for it..my first thread and post :)

I am interested in turboing my EK9 with a light bolt on turbo kit. The problem is i dunno how to start. What turbo should i use? Basicaly i need a full list of all that i will need. From piping to ECU. Which ones whould you suggest? I saw the Edelbrock - Performer Turbo X Kit - B-series but i am not sure if this has everything to cover me. I am willing to make 250- 300 hp (crank) and keep the engine in stock condition and reliable. Is this possible? If not, what (hopefully small) changes should i make? I am willing to pay around 3500 uk pounds including everything. Also will it be easy to remove in case i have to MOT the car? Please forgive me if i am asking something noobish as i am new in the FI club. Looking forward for your guidance. Thank you.

file mou katarxas welcome. Were you from?
If you want to add a turbo kit and keep taking it on and off everytime you want a MOT DONT BOTHER.
Xasimo xronou and you knw how F@~ked police is here in Cyprus.
PARETA pou laloume. Stick a B18C with few head work and a nice power fc or hondata and your reliable and good to go

The Edelbrock is a Complete bolt-on kit but because it's built for a B16A2 there may/will be some differences. Truthfully I'd piece one together sometimes it's cheap and 10/10 the kit will be what you want because you built it.

GT28RS is good turbo that'll support upto 320whp (350whp Max'd) and spools pretty quick for it's power range.

gia sou koumparoui mou and welcome
i use to have greddy turbo kit for my honda for 6 years with stock engine and no proplems at all BUT when the police start to weak up i sell everthing and i buy half typer car and clone mine
as nicolas says put b18r engine or strok yours with some bults on and a good tuning and your ok.Forget turbo in cyprus(f..... police)
GOOD LUCK

thnx for the replies guys. ime apo lemeso. esis? Let's just say that there is no other option than putting the turbo kit. Like...there is no way back for a reason. And police will not be taken in consideration. What are the steps i should do? I need a complete list. ecu turbo and everything.

the most easy way take a greddy turbo kit for the sir, put a 1,5mm metal head gasket, a good engine manage and a profesional tuning. at an intercooler for more safe and dont boost more than 0,5 bar for a stock engine
iam from larnaka

I understand your not wanting to change any internals out, but to safely run the amount of boost and not put a timer on your engine you need to lower your compression. If your going to change your pistons then you might as well go ahead and change your head gasket like ALEX-CY stated.
