I've just had my HEL brake lines fitted and my pedal has no feel at all. Brakes only work when pedal is pressed fully. After searching the forum i've found the correct way to bleed the brakes (Sticky Thread).

Now my question is... If that method does not rectify my problem, how do i bleed the brakes from the master cylinder? I've read a thread saying loosen the unions on the master cylinder..? Can anyone help?

Thanks.
Ahmed.

how did you bleed for brakes at the caliper ??? you only bleed the brake master when you have replace your brake master, and what kind of caliper you have is importaint as well if you have standard or aftermarket

I bled the brakes by getting my friend to help me.

I made him pump the brake pedal five times then when he held the pedal down, i released the bleed nipple and carried on this way till the brake fluid came out with pressure.

The only thing i never did is follow the sequence shown in the sticky thread in the brakes section. I will try that today and post my result.

Pedal feel got considerably better, but abit more bleeding is needed to make it perfect. I've heard that bleeding the brake's when hot should get rid of the smallest of air bubbles. Due to the oil being thin when hot.
